If a woman wants to buy organic cosmetics online and she finds your shop and sees that your store is only about organic cosmetics, she will be much more likely to check out the store really thoroughly than when she is just visiting the store that is selling all kinds of cosmetics, including some organic cosmetics.

It’s also a great way to establish yourself in the eyes of your customer as trusted expert. People tend to believe that you are a specialist much more if you focus only on one kind of product group. It also helps you a lot in being found online. Because you are so much more relevant than a general store.

This is important for the search engines. Because if you want to get free visitors, free traffic from Google, Bing, Yahoo and other search engines than you need to be relevant to what the people are searching for. And if you have a highly focused niche store then you are relevant. And the search engines are going to recognize and appreciate that – and they’re going to “thank you” for being so relevant and providing a good experience to end-users by giving you higher rankings in their SERPs (search engine result pages).
